Austin 2014 Founders Day
Texas Pike actives and alums marked the fraternity’s founding on March 1, 2014 in Austin with a BBQ dinner and reception, In the spirit of the evening, alumni and actives joined together and recited the fraternity’s Preamble. Alumni and wives were introduced, and the eight Spring Pledges were also introduced and welcomed into the fold. Beta Mu’s 2014 Founders Day was dedicated to the memory of recently departed brothers Harry Gump ’40, Mark Owens ’80 and David Reed ’68.
