Defining the Future of Texas Pike – The New Pike House
While the Beta Mu experience certainly involves more than the bricks and mortar of the chapter house, our home undoubtedly plays a significant role as a living and learning center and as a proud symbol of our shared values and goals.
The original house, built in 1952, served as the college home for our undergraduate brothers while allowing for a place for thousands of alumni to return to when visiting Austin. As we were approaching Beta Mu’s 100- year anniversary at Texas in 2020, we realized we must turn our attention to what the future holds and how we will continue to provide a modern, safe and beautiful home for our fraternity. It was because of the brothers who came before us that we had the opportunity to live, learn and thrive at 2400 Leon Street; we had to answer the question: what will we provide for the next generation?
Our Objective
- We must provide a modern home for our undergraduate brothers.
- We must set the standard for fraternity housing and attract the top student leaders who will move our fraternity forward.
